Financial Travel Buddy is an independent publication launched in February 2025 by Timur Oberhuber (me!).

Personally, my goal is to travel to every country in the world (both sovereign and non-sovereign). At the same time, I am quite passionate about finances. So I thought - why not combine these two passions and share them with the world...

I am currently based in The Netherlands, and as such any financial tips, tricks, or reviews I come up with are likely EU or Europe specific.

In order to track my travels, I've developed an app I call "Travel Buddy" (you can find a link on the top right of this website), I use this app to track my travel progress.
